About Me

I graduated from Shawnee State University with a Bachelor of Science in game programming and simulation. I also obtained a minor in mathematics and eSports studies. While at SSU, I learned how to program in Python, C, C++, C# and a bit of Java. I also learned how to work with commercial game engines like Unreal Engine 4 which was the engine of choice for the senior project game, BLAST. (see the page on games for more information on this project)

After college, I went into the industry and did a few different jobs. I did contract work for a game called Ghosts of Tabor, currently working on a game called The Lays of Althas and I do a few custom apps and games on my free time like a Pokémon TCG game tracker or a game based on some of my favorite retro titles.

I love to make games, but I also love to pass my knowledge on to others. So I have also found a passion in teaching the youth about making games. I have been working at place called Code Wiz where we teach kids how to make games, program and just have fun with it. I teach kids how to work in Roblox Studio, Minecraft Modding, Python, C++, Java, Unity and Robotics.

For many years, I did video editing and photoshop as a hobby and used my skills to post my animations as well as video essays on various topics. The past two years I have primarily made video essays on FPS games, Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. I’ve utilized my skills in editing to make trailers for different projects that I worked on.

I dabbled in animations with the software, Source Film Maker. I also used the software to make promotional images for my videos and just artwork pieces that I wanted to make. The skills I learned from SFM in aspects to film have been useful for my trailer making.
